E-mail Client Configuration
Microsoft Outlook Express
Step 1

  • Open Microsoft Outlook Express
  • To add the new account, select "Tools", then select "Accounts".
  • NOTE: Delete any existing email accounts by highlighting and clicking "Remove"
Step 2

  • When the Internet Accounts box appears, select the "Mail" tab
  • Click the "Add" button, then select "Mail"
  • This launches the set up wizard
Step 3

  • Enter a display name (i.e. First and Last Name), click "Next"
Step 4

  • Enter your email address
  • Click "Next"
Step 5

  • Select "IMAP" as the incoming mail server
  • Enter for the incomping mail server, and for the outgoing mail server
  • Click "Next"
Step 6

  • Enter your FULL EMAIL ADDRESS as your account name
  • Enter your password, you may place a checkmark on remember password and enter your password
  • Do not mark "Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)"
  • Click "Next"
Step 7

  • Click "Finish" to create the mail account
  • You will be returned to the mail account window
Step 8

  • Your new account will now appear as
  • Highlight, and click on "Properties"
Step 9

  • Click on the "Servers" tab
  • My incoming mail server should be set to "IMAP"
  • In order to send mail through our server, you will need to check the option for "My server requires authentication" under the Outgoing Mail Server section
Step 10

  • Click on the "Advanced" tab
  • Change the Outgoing mail (SMTP) port number to 43005
  • Check off "This server requires a secure connection (SSL) - the Incoming mail (IMAP) should change to 993 automatically
  • Click "OK", then you can click "Close" on the Internet Accounts window

  • Your account is setup and ready to use!
