E-mail Client Configuration
Microsoft Outlook 2007
Step 1


  • Open Microsoft Outlook 2007
  • Click on "Tools", then click on "Account Settings"
  • On the Account Settings window under the E-mail tab, click on "New..."
Step 2


  • The "Add New E-mail Account" wizard should start up
  • Leave "Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP" selected, and click "Next"

  • On the next window, do not put any information in, simply check off "Manually configure server settings or additional server types", and click "Next"
Step 4


  • Select "Internet E-mail", then click "Next"
Step 5


  • Enter the following information in the required fields:
    • Your Name: Your full name (first name, last name)
    • E-mail Address: Your full email address
    • Account Type: IMAP
    • Incoming mail server: imap.littleloon.ca
    • Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.littleloon.ca
    • User Name: Your full email address
    • Password: Your email password
  • Click on "More Settings ..."
Step 6


  • Click on the "Outgoing Server" tab, then place a check beside "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"
Step 7


  • Click on the "Advanced" tab
  • Under "Incoming Server", change "Use the following type of encrypted connection" to SSL
  • Change the "Outgoing server (SMTP):" to 43005
  • Click "OK"
Step 8


  • You have successfully completed setting up your new littleloon.ca email account!
